The New York State Department of Transportation announced that beginning on Monday, Aug. 6, there will be overnight closures of ramps on the interstates in Southeast. The closures are expected to last until Friday, Aug. 10.
From 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Monday and Tuesday, the I-84 east and westbound ramp to Exit 20S (I-684 south) and exit 20N (Route 22 north). On Wednesday and Thursday, the same ramp will be closed, as will the I-684 southbound ramp to Exit 9W (I-84 west). On Friday, the I-684 southbound ramp to Exit 9E (I-84 east) will also be closed.
During the scope of the repaving project, motorists can expect delays. Detours are to be posted and there will be flaggers in the area to help control the flow of traffic in the area.
